Managing the Virtual Learning Process Effectively® (MVLPE)

MVLPE is a highly effective, optional program that prepares you to manage the learning experience of each of your Learners in any virtual format around any content. Subject Matter Experts and Managers who also present or deliver information to others in the virtual format find this program very valuable.

Purpose:
To teach workplace classroom Trainers/Facilitators how to quickly and confidently transition from delivering ILT in a physical classroom setting to the virtual learning environment, while preserving the quality and effectiveness of each program they deliver. Once you complete MVLPE, you will begin to see yourself transformed into a true "Manager of the Virtual Learning Process."

Goals:

  • Deeper understanding of “virtual learning management,” the role of the Trainer before, during, and after delivering content in the virtual format, and the responsibilities of Learners in this format.
  • Increased confidence in using effective techniques to deliver and manage any type of learning content in the virtual format.
  • More powerful learning sessions that appeal to the different styles and stages of learning.
  • More effective virtual learning sessions that appeal to and engage the different styles and stages of learning.
  • Improved ability to recognize disengagement and use appropriate strategies to engage all Learners before, during, and after the virtual learning session.

Description:
In this ILT/virtual program, Trainers will understand the differences between managing learning content in synchronous classroom learning sessions and conducting virtual learning sessions. Trainers will learn tips and strategies for how to engage Learners in all types of content – pre, during, and post the virtual learning session. Trainers will gain the confidence and skills to use any virtual and social media tools that are practical and available to them when managing virtual sessions.

Results:

  • Trainers who are able to manage any learning content effectively in the virtual learning environment.
  • Trainers who are confident in using the many functions available in various virtual tools in the most effective and appropriate ways for maximum learning by all Learners.
  • Trainers who leverage social media tools before, during, and after virtual sessions to encourage buy-in, engagement, and transfer of content to job application.

Audience:
New and experienced Trainers, Instructors, and Facilitators of all types of training content.

Length:
Two days, with several virtual sessions conducted throughout for modeling best practices and for practice by the Trainers.
